Samuel Benton Callahan - Confederate congressman and Muscogee Nation official
Confirmed via Wikipedia and multiple independent Geni-mirrored family trees: Samuel Benton Callahan, son of James Oliver Callahan and Amanda Doyle (a mixed-blood Creek woman, daughter of Nimrod Doyle), was a member of the Confederate States House of Representatives for the Creek and Seminole at-large district (1864-1865), later served as executive secretary to three principal chiefs of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, and became a justice of the Muscogee Nation Supreme Court in 1901. He and his mother were forced to emigrate from Alabama to Indian Territory in 1836 (Creek Removal / Trail of Tears era); his father James O. Callahan had already died in Alabama by that time. A sibling died in infancy (possibly the "Josephine Callahan" already recorded in this tree, though not confirmed). Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Benton_Callahan
