Sweet Potato Casserole

A delicious classic side dish with creamy baked sweet potatoes and a buttery pecan crumb topping.

 4 baked sweet potatoes
 1 tsp cinnamon
 ½ cup sugar
 2 eggs
 ¾ cup evaporated milk
 ¾ stick butter
 ½ cup pecans
 1 cup brown sugar
 ½ stick butter

Peel and slice baked sweet potatoes

Layer sweet potatoes in a buttered baking dish

Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over potatoes

Beat eggs and mix with evaporated milk, then pour over potatoes

Dot with 3/4 stick butter pieces

Cover with foil and bake at 325°F for 30 minutes

Mix pecans with 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 stick melted butter

Remove foil and top casserole with pecan mixture
